Hosting my first pop-up event with McGill University‘s Circle of Fashion was a defining moment in A Made That’s journey. The collaboration, initiated through Instagram, provided an invaluable shop experience, offering insights into customer preferences and effective marketing strategies. With a background in marketing, I strategically utilized my skills to maximize sales, resulting in the sale of all 17 handmade pieces on that memorable day. The event not only marked the one-year anniversary of the brand but also served as a platform for interactive experiences, including spray-painting activities on shirts. Supported by my family and friends, the pop-up was a celebration, complete with small cupcakes to commemorate the milestone. This event affirmed that A Made That was on the right track, reinforcing my commitment to the exciting path of fashion design.
